- iCloud backup uses your Apple ID, and data is stored on Apple’s iCloud servers
- Data Storage Location: iCloud data may be stored on servers located outside your country/region, which may involve cross-border data transfer
- Cross-Border Transfer Notice: If you use iCloud backup, your data may be transferred to Apple’s servers located outside your country/region. This data transfer is managed by Apple Inc. and is subject to Apple’s privacy policy and terms of service. You can disable iCloud backup at any time in settings to stop cross-border data transfer
- iCloud data is protected by Apple’s privacy policy and terms of service
Purpose of Data Use
We use locally stored data only for:
- Providing diary recording and editing functionality

- Recording location information (if enabled): Displaying city names in diary entries to enhance context

- Purpose: Allow you to select images from your photo library to insert into diary entries, or save shared images to your photo library

- Usage: Only used when you actively use the camera feature

- Necessity: Location information helps enhance diary context, but this feature is completely optional and does not affect core app functionality

- If iCloud backup is enabled, data will also be retained in your iCloud account until you actively delete it
- Deleting the app will remove all related data on your device, but will not automatically delete data in iCloud (you need to manually delete it in iCloud settings)
- We do not retain any copies of your data
